“i’m too heavy,” potter said, shaking his head
“oh merlin, not that again,” drao muttered he grabbed potter’s hand and yanked him down “there, nothing’s broken,” he said, ing his arms around him
“you’re impossible,” potter ughed he still looked a little unomfortable clearly, he was afraid to move letting out a sigh, drao smaked his thigh
“e on, let’s go upstairs,” he said
“what? we’re not eating in the dining room?” potter asked in a teasing tone “but what about the rumbs?”
drao rolled his eyes as potter jumped up and waited for drao to lead the way
“where are we going?”
“my bedroom”
“ooooh,” potter said, wiggling his eyebrows
“hold your horses, potter”
“now you’re really making me uus”
drao stayed silent as they limbed the stairs, his heart drumming wildly in his hest this was so not like him but potter had turned his whole world upside down; nothing was as it was before
he paused when he ed his hand around the door handle
“e on, don’t keep me in suspense,” potter said, impatiently
drao snorted, shaking his head before he ould hange his mind, he opened the door and pulled potter along with him as soon as they stepped into the room, he let go of potter’s hand and shot him a nervous gne potter was gazing at the eiling with parted lips
“this…” he took another step forward “did you harm the eiling?”
“i did”
“it’s like the eiling in the great hall,” potter said, his eyes fixed on the bright blue sky “this is so ool”
they stood there in silene for a while as potter marveled at the sky and drao pratially burned a hole into the bak of potter’s head with his eyes
“so, you felt like doing it outdoors but didn’t want to leave the omfort of your bed, is that it?” potter hukled
drao took a deep breath “atually…” he debated walking up to potter but deided to stay a few paes behind him “luna told me about…she told me about the upboard”
potter’s head whipped around so fast, he almost lost his bane clearly, this had been the st thing he had expeted and holy, drao hadn’t even wanted to bring it up but ever sine luna had told him, he hadn’t been able to stop thinking about it, espeially while he had been in his spus and adorned bedroom; he hadn’t been able to stop thinking about little potter, ramped into a fuking upboard, probably without enough air to breathe
drao felt a flush reep up his fae as potter kept staring at him
“i probably shouldn’t have said anything,” he murmured and swiftly walked up to him “i don’t want you to think about what those sik bastards did to you ever”
potter blinked at him in astonishment wordlessly, drao took his hand and squeezed it he wathed potter as he thoughtfully turned his gaze to the sky again and uanding slowly dawned on his fae when his eyes found drao’s one more, they were glistening
“drao,” he whispered
holy, it was his own fault for doing something so soppy
“whatever,” drao muttered, hoping potter wouldn’t ome any loser and notie how fast his heart was beating “let’s go lie down”
silently, they wathed the louds roll by, side by side, until drao felt warm fingers on his arm he turned his head, only to find potter smiling at him
“whatever, potter,” he murmured with a stubborn rease on his forehead potter let out a breathy ugh before he leaned over and sent drao’s pulse into overdrive with a maddening kiss “promise me you’ll tell me when something’s b you,” drao said when potter pulled bak “don’t go and isote yourself” he brushed a few strands of hair out of potter’s fae “i don’t are if we end up fighting just…talk to me, okay?”
“okay,” potter whispered
“and please, for one, think about what you want, okay?”
potter didn’t respond immediately he bit his lip and put his hand over drao’s on his fae “i—i know what i want at least, um—”
“what?”
“i know at least one thing”
“what? what is it?” drao furrowed his brows at potter’s jittery voie his expresn was weird, too
“i—i want to be yours”
was it drao’s imaginan or was the sunlight suddenly s? he swallowed around the sudden lump in his throat, praying he wasn’t dreaming but if he wasn’t…he had no idea what was the ropriate response to something like this his body, however, thought it was ropriate to unleash a massive storm of giddiness inside him and send shokwaves down his spine he only realised he was smiling like a omplete it when potter grinned, limbed on top of him and started snogging him senseless he flinhed when drao put his hands on his sides, but slowly rexed as drao let out a oed sigh baby steps, he thought
“i ould get used to surprises like this,” potter said iween kisses “you know you’ve ompletely ruined me, right?”
“for other men?”
